Human factors Engineering is about people: understanding their capabilities and limitations and linking these to the development product development process. In an ever more complex world, choosing between two technically equivalent products is based on their ease of use and comfort. We believe that the era of only technology-driven innovation in the medical world is reaching its end.
 
Successful medical devices will have to be adapted to human nature: patients' health, safety and comfort are paramount. Human Factors requirements should be viewed as important as technical specifications.  

 
Our Human Factors efforts are guided by the Application of usability engineering to medical devices (IEC 62366), and include:
  • Contextual observation
  • Usability requirements
  • User interface development
  • Biometric parameters acquisition
  • Handling studies
